New additon to the Littlefield Family

We added a new addition to the family today: A 2005 Eddie Bauer Ford Expedition. It was time to upgrade to a larger vehicle, we have out grown our sedan.

All leather interior.
It seems that there is a 1/4 mile between the driver and the passanger.
Large enough that I can sit some what comfortable between the car seats.

Wide enough that Ashley can sleep in the back. Notice the screen in the middle, it has a DVD player installed.

The third row is so easy to raise and lower that even Ashley can do it.

From the front seats looking to the back of the car.

Fun in the sun

Ashley and Madison spent an afternoon playing in the pools and having fun. Madison liked climbing in and out of the pools. She would crawl between the two pools and climb part way in then crawl over to the other one.
Ashley loves going down the little slide in the pool.

The Joys of Desert Living

Today when I walked out the front door this is what I saw:

Yes...that is a skin of a 4 foot long snake. Jason measured it and sure enough it is 47 inches long! It drapes another 9 inches off the porch between the house and rain gutter. Just thinking about a snake that big slithering so close around the house gives me the creeps!

Then after taking the pictures of the snake and going back inside, I look out the back door and this is what I see:

A little rabbit munching on our grass. We aren't planning on doing our yard yet, but our neighbor had some extra sod from doing his and gave it to us. So, even if we don't get much use out of a yard this summer. It looks like little critters will be!

Little Norman

Brian and I had the chance to go to Girl's Camp this year. They asked us to help with the cooking. I don't know why they asked us because we live off of cold cereal and microwave popcorn. They had camp at a ranch. At the ranch I had the opportunity to feed a baby calf. The thing I learned is don't get in the way of the calf's milk. I turned my back on the baby and he kept nudging me and he slimmed me with his wet milky nose.

Our week at the Cabin

We had a wonderful time in Montana this past week. It was our first trip of the year to the Cabin. It was a small group this past week and it was very pleasant. However, it rained every day and we had a fire all day long. It did stop raining enough that we could spend some time fishing and hiking. We made it up to lookout point and as we were hiking we found some good size bear tracks in the mud. Ashley and Madison love to go hiking and being out side.

Madison found her a favorite place to lay around.

Ashley and Brooklyn

They had a great time together for the week. They did everything together. Thanks David and Lynn for bringing Brooklyn along.

Lisa doing what she loves to do best at the Cabin!

Fun With The Camera

I had fun today taking some cute pictures of Amelia! I feel so blessed to have her in my life!

Brennan had to join in on the fun

"Okay Mom, I'm done! No more pictures!"

What's Been Going On

Here is a little bit of what has been going on in the Twede home:

We had Jason's parents here last week. It was so fun having them! They kept Brennan busy. One day we went to the Aquatic Center. Brennan's favorite spot was hangin' out by the side of the pool. Eventually he warmed up to the idea and got in, but by that point it was time to go. (Sorry Mary and Allan these were the only pics I took the whole week you were here.)

Amelia is doing very well. She's a pretty good sleeper, she still has her days and nights mixed up a bit. She is an extremely good eater, she's already past the 10 pound mark. She is a happy baby and brings us a lot of happiness, just not so much at 3 in the morning!

We've all had the joy of getting the flu this week. It all started with Jason last Saturday, got to me Monday morning, then last but not least found Brennan Tuesday night. I think I've had to wash every article of clothing, blanket, towel, inch of floor in this whole house. And Brennan has learned to work me. It seems every time Amelia cries or I'm holding her, he'll run to me with his arms out saying, "Mommy I'm sick, hold me." I'm having to learn quick how to balance two kids and keep up the house. It's hard work. Come back Mom...I need you!
